In Surrounded by Enemies, author Bryce Zabel delivers an alternative narrative about what might have happened had the president escaped assassination. These mock-up magazine covers were created after researching the era and then compositing photos of JFK with those famous at the time. They were made to look like they were published in the 1960s via retouching and aging.
